How a project goes
Here is what happens from the first phone call to the day we finish the install.
- 01
We come out and measure
The consultation is free. We look at the space, measure it, and talk with you about what you want and what you want to spend.
- 02
You get a written price
The price is for your actual job, in writing. If it is more than you want to spend, we talk about what could change before you pay a deposit.
- 03
We build it
We build your cabinets in our own shop. If something needs to change along the way, you call us and we work it out.
- 04
We install it
We bring everything to your house, fit it to your walls and clean up when we are done.
Why we measure in your house
Walls lean and floors slope. An opening that measures 60 inches at the bottom can be 59 and a half at the top. Cabinets built from rough numbers end up with gaps that get covered with filler strips.
We take the measurements ourselves because we are the ones who have to make it fit. A built-in that is scribed to your wall looks like it came with the house.

Common questions
What does the consultation cost?
Nothing, and you are under no obligation. We come out, measure, and talk through what you want to do. If we are not the right shop for the job, we will tell you.
How long does a project take?
Most jobs are ready to install 4 to 6 weeks after you approve the final drawings. A single built-in often goes faster than a full kitchen, which has to be scheduled around counters and plumbing. We give you a timeline along with your written price.
Do you handle countertops, plumbing and electrical?
We build and install the cabinets. For counters, plumbing and electrical, we can work with the people you already use or suggest people we trust. We will be clear up front about what is part of our job and what is not.
Can you match cabinets I already have?
Often, yes. Send us photos and measurements or bring us a door. Matching a stain is the harder part, and we will tell you how close we think we can get before you decide.
How much will it cost?
You can price cabinets and build a list on the site to get a feel for it. We confirm the real number after we measure, and once you have our written price, that is the price. If something changes during the job, we talk to you before we do the work.
Do you take a deposit?
Yes. The deposit pays for materials and holds your place in our build schedule. There's one more payment when your cabinets are delivered and a final one when the job is done and you've seen it installed. Your written price lays out each amount.
