One shop, from the first visit to install day
We measure your space, build the cabinets in our Huntersville shop and install them in your house.

- Hardwood face frames and door frames on real wood plywood boxes. Painted doors get an MDF center panel so the paint doesn't crack at the edges.

- Few walls are perfectly square. We build to the measurements we take in your house, so the cabinets fit without wide filler strips.

- We work out of a shop. Your money goes to wood, hardware and the time it takes to build.

We come out and measure
The consultation is free. We look at the space, measure it, and talk with you about what you want and what you want to spend.

The price is for your actual job, in writing. If it is more than you want to spend, we talk about what could change before you pay a deposit.

We build it
We build your cabinets in our own shop. If something needs to change along the way, you call us and we work it out.

We install it
We bring everything to your house, fit it to your walls and clean up when we are done.
What goes into our cabinets
Face frames and door frames are solid hardwood. Cabinet boxes are 3/4 inch prefinished maple plywood. Drawer boxes are dovetailed at the corners and run on full extension soft close slides.
Painted doors get a smooth MDF center panel. A wood panel shrinks and swells with the seasons and can crack the paint where it meets the frame. MDF stays put, so the paint stays smooth.
Every painted or stained cabinet gets a low VOC, two part cabinet coating. It cures much harder than the one part trim paint a lot of shops use, so it stands up to a busy kitchen or a steamy bathroom.
Closets are the one place we usually suggest melamine. It's tough, easy to wipe clean and costs less. If you want wood in there, we build that too.
Buying cabinets only
Most of our cabinets have their prices right on the site. Full custom cabinets are built in our shop to the exact size you need. Standard size cabinets from Artisan Mills, Spring Forest and NKBC cost less and come ready to assemble.
