A low one drawer cabinet built at bench height, about 20 inches, for window seats and mudroom benches. Add a cushion on top and the drawer holds everything underneath. Built framed with a hardwood face frame, or frameless if you prefer, on a 3/4 inch prefinished maple plywood box. Standard size is 48 inches wide, 20 high and 24 deep, and we build it to your measurements if that doesn't fit. The price shown is painted Snow White. Pick another color, a stain or unfinished below.

Construction
How the cabinet box and its front are built.
Not sure which to pick?
Frameless is the most modern and costs the least. Framed full overlay is our standard, a solid wood face frame with the doors covering almost all of it. Framed inset sets each door flush inside the frame, which takes the most hand work and gives the most traditional look.
Finish
Painted in our shop, or sanded and ready for your own finish.
Stains
the grain still shows through
Paints
a solid, even color

Not sure which to pick?
Every price here is for cabinets painted in our shop, because that is how most people want them. A stain costs the same as paint, and unfinished takes the finish back off the price.
Exposed ends
How a cabinet end that shows is finished.
Not sure which to pick?
An end shows when it finishes a run or faces an appliance. A skin matches your wood. A panel in your door style makes the end part of the cabinetry. A thick end panel stands flush with the doors for a built in look.
Toe kick
How the cabinet meets the floor.
Which ends
Not sure which to pick?
A recessed toe kick is the usual. Square or curved feet run the face frame to the floor at the ends of a run, like furniture legs. A furniture base wraps a molding around the bottom. Frameless cabinets have no face frame, so they do not get feet.
Notes for the shop
Optional. Drilling, a cutout, an odd wall, whatever it is.
